Independent / Experimental Founded in Brooklyn in 2010, Northern Spy releases forward-thinking music that moves freely between experimental traditions and popular forms. From free improvisation, jazz, and avant-garde composition to rock, electronic music, songcraft, and the spaces between them, the label is built around singular artists making music on their own terms.
